We are delighted to announce that Hemplab has received the Mayor of Lublin Economic Award in the “Young Business” category. Hemplab has been recognised for its robust growth year over year, for developing its proprietary innovative technologies on a global scale, tapping into the regional scientific know-how, closely cooperating with Lublin’s universities, as well as for its transformation over the last four years from a startup into a major player on the Polish market.

The march of 2020 went down in history as the beginning of critical and rapid changes in the global economy. With each new day of the pandemic came new challenges for entrepreneurs the world over. This year’s Mayor of Lublin Economic Award Contest has shown, however, that despite many difficult moments, Lublin’s businesses have been doing very well and can boldly look into thefuture. The people who manage them, along with their teams, rose up to the challenge of coping in this new reality, and today, we have the opportunity to recognise their efforts. The laureates are the finest in Lublin’s business. These businesses have been significantly driving the economic development of the city and pushing it forward, setting themselves as models, while also promoting Lublin’s economy and building its reputation, – said Mayor of Lublin Krzysztof Żuk.
